They have begun filming The Hobbit!

Peter Jackson is directing it as well. I think it's should be awesome. I wonder if it will come out as a dual feature though, like the last Harry Hotter movies or Kill Bill?

    He posted a 10 minute video on the start of production, you see behind the scenes and costumes and sets. It's so amazing I nearly pee'd.

    I've heard this news and am actually pretty excited. Been a while since a LOTR based movie came out, and being the precursor and all, maybe this should have been made first...
